🔁 Returns synchronization: how does it work?

You can synchronize your Shopify Returns with Airtable thanks to SyncBase.

This allows you to track returned items, monitor return statuses, and link returns to their related orders directly from Airtable.

This topic explains how it works.

Overview

  • Returns data can be found in the Returns table
  • Each record represents a single Shopify Refund and stays synchronized in real time.

Returns data you can sync

SyncBase currently supports the synchronization of the following Return fields:

  • Return ID
  • Return Name
  • Order ID
  • Order Line Item ID
  • Return Status
  • Return Reason
  • Quantity
  • Created At
  • Linked Orders (Linked Records)

The Linked Orders field is automatically created and links each Return to its related Order.

Creating a new return from Airtable

Creating returns directly from Airtable is not supported yet.

If this is something you need, you can contact us via the livechat to request this feature.

Creating a new return from Shopify

When a new Return is created in your Shopify admin, it will be synced to Airtable within seconds.

The new Return will appear as a new record in the Returns table.

Deleting a return

Returns cannot be deleted from Airtable.

To delete or manage a Return, you must do it directly from Shopify.

Any change made in Shopify will be automatically reflected in Airtable.
