🏢 Companies synchronization: how does it work?

You can synchronize your Shopify Companies with Airtable thanks to SyncBase.

This allows you to manage B2B companies, analyze company-level data, and keep everything synchronized between Shopify and Airtable. This topic explains how it works.


Overview


  • Companies data can be found in the Companies table
  • Each record represents a single Shopify Company and stays synchronized in real time.


Companies data you can sync


SyncBase currently supports the synchronization of the following Company fields:


  • Company ID
  • Company Name
  • External ID
  • Note
  • Created At
  • Customer Since
  • Contacts Count
  • Locations Count
  • Total Spent
  • Currency Code
  • Main Contact Name
  • Main Contact Email
  • Linked Orders (Linked Records)

Linked records are created automatically and kept up to date by SyncBase.

Creating a new company from Airtable


Yes, you can create a new company directly from Airtable.


Simply add a new record in the Companies table and fill in the required fields.

SyncBase will create the Company in Shopify and assign it a Company ID automatically.

Creating a new company from Shopify


When a new Company is created in your Shopify admin, it will be synced to Airtable within seconds.

The new Company will appear as a new record in the Companies table.


Deleting a company


Companies cannot be deleted from Airtable.

To delete a Company, you must do it directly from Shopify.

Once deleted in Shopify, the change will be automatically reflected in Airtable.
