✚ How to create a new metaobject entry from SyncBase?
Good news — you can create a new Metaobject entry directly from SyncBase!
There are two ways to do it, depending on your workflow and how much data you want to input right away.
This method is ideal if you want to manually create a single new entry.
Go to the synced tab that corresponds to your Metaobject definition.
Create a new record (just add a new row).
Wait a few seconds — SyncBase will automatically fill in the default data.
Start editing your new entry directly in Airtable!

This method is perfect if you want to create multiple entries and push them to Shopify all at once.
Go to the synced tab that corresponds to your Metaobject definition.
Add a new record with your data — via a Form, Automation, or Script.****
Important: Do not fill in the Entry ID column — SyncBase will automatically generate it using the ID provided by Shopify.
Wait a few seconds — SyncBase will push the data to Shopify and return the Entry ID and the Handle (if you didn’t set it).
If needed, start editing your new entry as needed!
Entries created from SyncBase are in DRAFT status by default.
You can change the status to ACTIVE directly from SyncBase.
If a field is marked as required in your Metaobject definition, you must fill it in Airtable — it cannot be left blank.
