⭐️ Super Sync: Never miss a Shopify update

Super Sync ensures your Airtable data stays perfectly aligned with Shopify — even when Shopify does not send a webhook. Sometimes, updates made directly in Shopify (or by another app or API connection) do not trigger webhooks. As a result, standard real-time sync may miss these changes.

Super Sync fills this gap. It automatically detects and syncs updates that were not captured by webhooks, so your data always stays up to date.

Available from the Business plan (Business, Elite and Enterprise).

Why Super Sync exists

Shopify webhooks are reliable — but not perfect.

In some cases, Shopify does not send a webhook when:

  • A user edits data directly in Shopify
  • Another app modifies data
  • An API integration performs updates

When that happens, the change may not be pushed to Airtable.

Super Sync continuously checks for these missing updates and synchronizes them automatically.

How to activate Super Sync

Requirements

To enable Super Sync, you must be on:

  • Business
  • Elite
  • Enterprise

Activation steps

  1. Go to your Shopify admin.
  2. Open the SyncBase app.
  3. Click on the Operations tab.
  4. Scroll to the Super Sync section.
  5. Select the entities you want to enable (Products, Orders, Customers, Collections, etc.).
  6. Click Save changes.

That’s it! Super Sync is now active for the selected entities.

Important note about API usage

Enabling Super Sync slightly increases Shopify API usage.

Before activating it, please make sure you are comfortable with the additional API consumption. For most stores, the increase remains moderate, but it is important to be aware of it.
