✨ Manage your Shopify store data directly from Claude

Managing Shopify data usually means switching between multiple tools. With SyncBase, Airtable, and Claude, you can now analyze, update, and manage your store data directly from Claude — using natural language.

This setup lets you perform complex operations in seconds: inventory checks, product creation, SEO audits, reporting, and more.

No custom development required, and everything stays fully under your control.

Here's how it works and how to set it up in 5 minutes.

How Claude can manage your Shopify data

Once your Shopify store is synced to Airtable with SyncBase, Claude can interact with this data through the Airtable connector. You simply describe what you want to do, and Claude translates it into structured actions on your Airtable data.

Example 1: Monitor and restock low-inventory products

You can ask Claude to:

  • Identify variants below a stock threshold
  • Filter by collection or product type
  • Generate a restock summary or CSV export

Example prompt: Give me all SKUs with fewer than 10 units in stock, grouped by product.

Claude reads your Airtable inventory data and returns a structured, actionable list instantly.

Example 2: Create new products directly from a chat

You can use Claude to:

  • Draft a new product with title, description, and variants
  • Write it directly into your Airtable base
  • Let SyncBase push it back to Shopify

Example prompt: Create a new product called "Linen Tote Bag" in the Accessories collection, with two variants: Natural and Black, priced at $34.

This removes the need to open your Shopify admin for simple product additions.

Example 3: Run an SEO audit and generate an optimization plan

With product and blog data synced in Airtable, Claude can:

  • Analyze titles, descriptions, and meta fields
  • Flag missing or underperforming content
  • Generate rewrite suggestions or an action plan

Example prompt: Audit the SEO quality of all products in my Summer collection and give me a prioritized optimization plan.

How to set this up in 5 minutes

Step 1: Connect Shopify to Airtable with SyncBase (3 minutes)

  1. Install the SyncBase app on your Shopify store
  2. Connect your Airtable account
  3. Choose the data you want to sync: Products & variants, Blog posts, Orders, Metafields, and more

SyncBase automatically creates an Airtable-synced base for your store.

Step 2: Connect Airtable to Claude (2 minutes)

  1. Open Claude
  2. Go to Settings → Connectors
  3. Select Airtable and authorize access to your synced base

Claude can now read, analyze, and update your Shopify data through Airtable.

What you can do next

This setup goes far beyond simple updates:

  • Monitor inventory and flag low-stock products
  • Create or bulk-update products and variants
  • Run SEO audits across your catalog or blog
  • Generate custom performance reports
  • Enrich product descriptions with AI-generated content

All of this happens without leaving Claude, while SyncBase ensures your Shopify and Airtable data stay perfectly in sync.
