✚ How to link tables and display data from a tab to another one?
Good news! Your tables are now linked together automatically during onboarding.
Nothing to do on your side. 🙂
How linked records work
When your Airtable-synced base is created, SyncBase automatically links related tables together during onboarding.
This means that Linked Record fields are created for you, and they are filled in automatically based on Shopify relationships. You don’t need to create or configure anything manually.
What is a linked record?
A Linked Record field creates a connection between two tables that are related to each other.
For example:
- A Product can have multiple Variants
- A Variant always belongs to one Product
Because of this relationship:
- The Products table contains a Variants linked record field
- The Variants table contains a Product linked record field
These links reflect Shopify’s data structure and stay in sync automatically.
Example: Products and Variants
In the Products table, you’ll find a Variants field:
- This field lists all Variant records linked to each Product
- Clicking a Variant opens the corresponding record in the Variants table
In the Variants table, you’ll find a Product field:
- This field links each Variant to its parent Product
- The link is always kept up to date by SyncBase

How to display data from one table to another?
You can easily bring data from one table into another using Lookup fields.
For example, to display the Product Title into the Variants table:
- Add a new field in Variants.
- Select Lookup as the field type.
- Source: your
Productsfield. - Field: choose Title from the Products table.
- Click Create field.
✅ Each Variant now shows its Product Title automatically.
