✅ February 20–21, 2026 - Airtable outage
On February 20 at 18:44 UTC, Airtable experienced a platform-wide outage. Services were fully restored on February 21 at 01:27 UTC.
This incident affected all Airtable users globally, including SyncBase users. Below is a summary of what happened and what it means for your synchronization.
What happened
During the outage window:
- Airtable bases were not accessible.
- SyncBase could not write Shopify updates into your Airtable-synced base.
- Changes made in Airtable could not be processed or sent to Shopify.
- Some records may have appeared in the
Sync errorstable with temporary server-related errors.
Because Airtable was unavailable, no updates from Shopify could be processed during this period.
What were the consequences
While Airtable was down:
- Shopify → Airtable updates were paused.
- Airtable → Shopify updates were also paused.
- Synchronization tasks could not be completed.
These issues were directly caused by Airtable’s infrastructure outage. There was nothing to fix on your side during this time.
Once Airtable services were restored, SyncBase resumed normal operations automatically.
What you should do
In most cases, no action is required.
However, if you want to make sure your Airtable-synced base is fully accurate and up to date:
- Go to your SyncBase app
- Open the Operations tab
- Select data you want to refresh
- Click Refresh
This will re-sync your data and ensure full alignment between Shopify and Airtable.
If you still notice inconsistencies after a refresh, feel free to contact our support team via the in-app live chat.
Incident resolved
Airtable’s services have been fully restored since February 21 at 01:27 UTC, and synchronization is now working normally again.
We appreciate your patience and thank you for your understanding.
