✅ 20 October 2025 - Airtable downtime due to AWS outage

Airtable recently experienced a major outage caused by an AWS (Amazon Web Services) incident. This affected all Airtable users globally, including SyncBase users.

The situation has now been resolved and Airtable is back online.

**Don't forget to **launch your refresh to make sure your Airtable-synced base is up to date.

What happened

Airtable’s servers went down due to an AWS infrastructure issue.

During the outage, Airtable bases (including your Airtable-synced base used by SyncBase) were not accessible or responsive.

What were the consequences

While Airtable was down:

  • Airtable was not accessible
  • Webhooks and updates made on Shopify did not sync with Airtable
  • New records appeared in the Sync errors table showing SERVER_ERROR Server error

These errors were temporary. You can delete these records.

What to do

Unfortunately, there is nothing to fix on your side while Airtable remains down.

If you were impacted by this outage:

  1. Go to your SyncBase App → Synchronization tab → click “Refresh” to ensure your Airtable-synced base is up to date
  2. Confirm that your recent updates have been properly synchronized
  3. If you still encounter issues, contact our support team. We’ll be happy to assist

Incident resolved

Airtable’s services have been fully restored and synchronization is working normally again.

We appreciate your patience during the incident and thank you for your understanding.
