# 💸 Refunds synchronization: how does it work?

You can synchronize your Shopify Refunds with Airtable thanks to SyncBase.
This allows you to track refunded amounts, link refunds to their related orders, and analyze refund activity directly from Airtable.
This topic explains how it works.

# Overview

* Refunds data can be found in the `Refunds` table
* Each record represents a single Shopify Refund and stays synchronized in real time.

# Refunds data you can sync

__SyncBase currently supports the synchronization of the following Refund fields__:

* Refund ID
* Order ID
* Order Line Item ID
* Refunded Amount
* Currency
* Note
* Created At
* Linked Orders (Linked Records)

The **Linked Orders** field is automatically created and links each Refund to its related Order.

# Creating a new refund from Airtable

Creating refunds directly from Airtable is **not supported yet**.
If this is something you need, you can contact us via the livechat to request this feature.

# Creating a new refund from Shopify

When a new Refund is created in your Shopify admin, it will be synced to Airtable within seconds.
The new Refund will appear as a new record in the `Refunds` table.

# Deleting a refund

Refunds cannot be deleted from Airtable.
To delete or manage a Refund, you must do it directly from Shopify.
Any change made in Shopify will be automatically reflected in Airtable.
