For safety reasons, the option to delete all records from your Airtable-synced base—and therefore all related Shopify metaobject entries—is disabled by default.This feature is highly sensitive because it can erase all your entries for a metaobject definition in under 30 seconds.

# Recommended way to delete metaobject entries

To safely delete entries from your Shopify store that are synced with Airtable, follow these steps:

1. **In Airtable**: Filter the entries you want to remove.
2. **Change the status**: to `DRAFT` status.
3. **In Shopify**: Use the status to filter entries.
4. **Bulk delete** the selected entries directly from Shopify.
