Start syncing and customise your Synced Base :) # Base generation **Once connected to Airtable,** you can set up an Airtable-synced base and either customize it yourself or use our pre-made Shopify PIM template. The **synced base** acts as **the bridge** between your Shopify store and Airtable. During setup, SyncBase automatically creates the **tables and fields** required to sync your data. 👉 See the full list of synced data here: [Data synced with SyncBase](https://help.syncbase.app/en/article/data-synced-with-syncbase-1cecyb3/) || ⚠️ Important: The tables and fields created by SyncBase are the backbone of the synchronization. Do not rename, delete, change field types, or convert them into computed fields, otherwise the sync may stop working properly. You can **freely add your own Airtable fields,** formulas, lookups, automations, and views. Any custom (unsynced) fields are yours to use however you like. This token allows SyncBase to access and update your Airtable base on your behalf.
